You want evidence look at a picture of any landscape of LA in the 60's and 70's and look at one today. I lived in the Santa Clara Valley as a kid in the 60's and seldom saw the Santa Cruz Mt's. Now you see them unless the weather is bad. Ya we still have smog but we probably have 1/3 to 1/2 again more cars then were in the sixty's.
