Why the tablet is so bitter?

For starters, tablets are not made from fruits or sweet products and the contents are made from chemical compounds that are suppose to combat diseases and the best likely reason is that the contents are in powdered form and really dried. When it reacts with saliva, it changes into a liquid form and insoluble. Its insolubility makes us taste tablets without the saliva and makes it taste bitter (saliva makes it taste good)
