Why the voices of broadcasters in fm radio sound the same?

why is that many voices in the radio stations on fm radio sound the same i notice this while randomizing thru the stations.

  2. either because radio stations use the same voice over artists...OR they all the sound the same because they're all white....

The typical DJ has studied other DJ's and tries to sound like them.  There are a great many DJ's of all races and ethnic backgrounds on the FM radio.  Where I work we have white, black, Hispanic, native Americans, orientals, men and women.  If you listen seriously you will hear great differences.  There is some "voice tracking" going on around the US and as such you will hear the same DJ often at various times and on various stations.  There is a good living to be made by people who are professional voices and the same person may be doing commercials for many people on many stations.
