For years Joe calzaghe meandered in the largely irrelevant super middle div, then suddenly he moves up to fight an ageing Hopkins? For years there was no credible fighters at super middle but as Jones and Hopkins are clearly past their best suddenly Warren and Calzaghe are throwing down the gauntlet, anyone explain this sudden change of heart?

  1. You could also make a case for wondering why Hopkins jumped past Calzaghe to fight at 175 instead of 168. Kessler and Lacy have been big names at 168 - just as big as the 175 pounders. You are obviously looking at this from only one angle, the anti- Calzaghe angle.

  2. Calzaghe has been wanting to fight big names for yearsss, if american boxers wernt so money orientated then it would improve the sport of boxing a whole lot more.

  3. yes, calzaghe has wanted to fight roy jones for the last 6 years same with hopkins but why would he move up a weight give up his belts if the fighters in the liight heavyweight division wouldnt fight him its not his fault that they are gettin old and you have to remember that joe is 36 too he aint exactly young is he

  4. Do you know anything at all about boxing or are you just making things up as you go along ?

Your questions i would have to say are quite amusing though, keep it up very entertaining. I especially liked the Andries Vs Calzaghe question, i was even more surprised that you found another clown who agreed with you, not sure if he was your cousin or something though.

This question is probably your best work, very creative. I never realised that Hopkins skipped the SuperMiddleweight division because it was so irrelevant and the Light Heavy division has an abundance of great talent in it. LOL, very entertaining please ask some more great questions.
