why the west media not report Tibetan protesters killing the innocent people?

Everyday we can find the news on yahoo.com , BBc and Voa..They only report how is chinese government crackdown on Tibetan peaceful demonstration( in fact that is violent demonstration). The shops, buildings have been burnt by the biolent protersters, but the west media never metion those incidents. somebody want to boycut beijing Olympic. In my opinion, do it as you wanted..we don't mind you will come or not for 2008 beijing.

  1. It's called nobbling the opposition....China will be the next dominant world power...and the west is scared s**+tless!

  2. It's hard for the western media to report anything happening in Xizang (Tibet). The Chinese government expelled all foreign journalists several days ago.

  3. I read something about Tibet quite some time ago and it started me thinking, maybe there is more to this then what we are led to believe in the west.

    It went like this:

Most people in Tibet wish the west would stay out of the countries problems and disagreements with China.  The reason given is the Chinese, being a very proud people, will do a lot to save face.  Which means more supression and a harder life for the Tibetans.  Therefore, if anyone is to blame for the last 50 years of Tibet being under the rigorous thumb of China, it is the west because we simply will not keep our nose out of their business.

    Makes sense to me.

In the west, we are fixated that Tibet is a kind and gentle country who would do no wrong whatsoever, and the Chinese are evil "doers" that wreck havoc wherever they go.  What most people don't know, is prior to Tibet being invaded in the early 50's, Tibet was a religious monarchy with a totalitarian type government where no one had any freedom whatsoever.

Fast forward to now, the Tibet people have more freedom then anytime in their history.  Tibet has also become a top tourist destination for the Chinese since they completed passenger rail service there a few years ago.

One other thing, the timing of this whole thing I find kind of strange.  Beijing is putting a lot on the Beijing Olympics, by putting the best foot forward and making it the best games ever.  The whole world will take notice that China is not the evil country that the west loves to spew about.  It would not surprise me in the least that the west is behind this in supplying information, money and possibly guns.

There is a lot of money and power at stake for China, the USA and the west.  China is beating the west in the market and with the emergance of an Asia Economic Union, with its almost unlimited amount of resources and labor, it is going to be a hard one to compete against.

The situation in Tibet is going to be a very interesting one to see how it unfolds.

I do wish the press would get off their complacent azzzzez and start dealing with facts, instead of an endless spread of supposition and propaganda.

  4. The taking of innocent lives is inexcusable but perhaps this would not have happened if China had kept out of Tibet.
