Why there is more impact of global warming on underdeveloped countries?

  1. It's not clear that there would be. Greenland was a very underdeveloped area during the last global warming period,and it thrived.

    I suppose less developed countries are less able to cope with whatever changes climate may bring about.


  2. i really don´t think there is... global warming affects the whole planet. all countries are experiencing change in their climate

  3. Underdeveloped nations are more agrarian, and weather dependent. Natural calamities can wipe out fisheries, farmlands, markets, etc. Developed countries have more developed resources available for power, food, water, housing, etc. This impacts their ability to assist in disasters, rebuilding efforts, and distribution of aid. Developed nations can better handle floods, storms, rising waters, temp. fluctuations, etc.

      I said "natural calamities", which are what global warming is effecting-weather patterns limiting rain and favorable temperatures for crops, sea water levels and oxygen content(fish populations), smog, light, floods, ozone depletion, etc.
