Why there is only one gold for the 110 core of indians, in Beijing Olympic? ?

The one golden boy of 110 core of Indians?..Chaina got 48 gold already...why we are so much unable to win gold medals in Olympic?

I guess India doesnt invest much money into promoting and helping their Olympic athletes.  All their money is used for the Cricketers!

Because their performances did not score high enough to place for a gold medal award.

India is more interested in training there people to be doctors and computer experts and engineers.  You do know who you are talking to when you call technical support, don't you?  India has some very good universities. There goverment realized that education was the answer for the countries future long ago.

India doesn't focus much on training Olympic athletes. There are also infrastructural issues that India deals with that take precedent over training Olympians.
