Why just target the Philippines? There's poverty all over the world.

The Philippine people are very proud with an independent spirit and have often refused help and cooperation from other countries. I think sometimes they fear exploitation as has happened in the past. Of all the countries in Asia they have the most to offer as they are the most educated per capita and have a good work ethic but often refuse partnership and outside investment in their country. With this attitude the Philippines will always be a country exporting their greatest treasure their people to work building the economies of other countries.

Culturally, they tend also to have a "crab mentality" being envious of others success to the point of interfering and actually hurting oneself  to keep others from being successful. God bless!

because selfish countries such as UK and USA and China are wasting all the money on stupid things like importing food from other countries when they are perfectly capable of growing them themselves!!!
