Why they breed donkeys in southern ontario?

what for? i can see purposed for breeding cows, horses, lamb, pigs, but why donkeys? I saw a farm full of them..

  2. Domestic farm animals are not only good for eating or riding...

    Donkeys are not really used for anything that would create a demand for them, so most likely they are kept as pets. And just like the other person said, because they can.
