Why this current US team is better than The Dream Team...

this team goes up against far superior international competition than the 92 or the 96 dream teams. Can you name any international NBA players from 1992 or 1996. Kukoc? anyone else? Now, practically every country has at least one to three very good all-star caliber NBA players. I am not saying this team is better, who knows, but I am saying that the original dream team would played their very best to beat today's international teams

This team is right up there with the '92 dream team. It's just that the world is getting much better at basketball. If this team was in '92 it would crushed the competition just like the original Dream Team did.

You're crazy if you think any olypmic US team past, present or future is better then the Dream Team.  The 2 original dreams 1992 Olympic Dream Team and the 1994 FIBA Dream Team 2 would make a fools out of todays Redeem Team.

well they are younger and their chemistry is nice i really think they will do good because lebron guaranteed a win and this team is excellent

If this team is better than the 1992 or 1996 dream team, then it is because these guys have built a lot of chemistry with each other over the past three years, on top of the athleticism and offensive talent they have.  The 1992 dream team was star laden of course, but they were just put together to play a bunch of teams who hardly could put a basket in the hoop.
