Why this happen when i sing?

i like to sing countertenor and i'm haveng my first voice lesson next week..but how would i know if i were singing from my diaphragm or not?also,why when i sing my voice gets easily tired..after 15 min of singing my voice looses its richness and clarity..why is that?will my teacher solve these problems easily(i'm 16 and happy that i didn't loose my countertenor voice)how long should i train with my voice coach?thanks

  1. well you can tell if you are singing from the diaphragm if the space below and in your stomach are fills up when you take a breath. when singing from the diaphragm you will feel your voice not feeling strained or tired. Your voice coach should teach you this, thye are great. Also you should train with your coach throughout your whole career or until the point you feel that you have reached your maximum potential. many great singers who are international superstars and opera stars still use voice coaches in their daily careers...there is always room for improvement...GOOD LUCK


  2. having singing lessons will answer all your questions. You can tell that you're singing from the diaphragm when you feel your stomach vibrate. Your voice is getting tired cause you don't sing from the diaphragm and you don't take correct inhales. Your teacher will tell you how long you should train but i think its about 12 years for classical singing.
