So what! Go to school and then get to work. We don't care!

  1. India's educational system is screwed up, as a result of their social system still being based on castes.  As a way to "make up" for decades of social repression, the Indian government reserved a certain number of seats to the members of the lower classes in the most prestigious technology schools.  The problem is, the IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) are some of the best schools in the world (better than a lot of American schools), and going to IIT almost guarantees a stable future, especially if it means being able to continue your education in the US.  In India, you can't just go to any college you want, and you can't just get a job.  If the questions bother you so much, don't read or answer them.  Not everything needs your expertise.

  2. Uh, what Drew said, it's India just ignore those questions......

  3. I know, isn't it amazing?

  4. They are ridiculous because nobody can answer them.  The only way to find out if you can get into a college is to send in an application.  Posting your score on the internet is really a form of bragging, and that's also ridiculous because nobody cares.  Nobody posts their SAT scores on the site.
