Why to gift somebody?

Why people gives gifts to others? What is the best gift idea according to you? and what are the possible occesions to gift others? True answers please

To show them your appreciation, and to thank them for being such a great friend/family member. It's a way of saying "I love you, you're the best!"

We give gifts to show appreciation, to congratulate them, to show them they are special, a way to express love, to show you were thinking about them, to say I'm sorry, or even just because they like giving gifts.

I like gifts that are creative, or come from the heart.  The best gifts I've ever received have been homemade.

Gift occasions: Holidays, Birthdays, Graduations, Housewarming, Promotion, Anniversaries, New baby, To say I'm sorry, or just because.
