mccarthy is just hoping he is going to be like tom brady so he can become a god in green bay or something

i love brett favre but i have to go with the packers with their move. farve put the packers in this position the second he said hes retired. rodgers then moved from the bench to carry the torch favre left behind. that was the idea since drafting him. to carry on after brett. but not that rodgers is ready to go and favre wants to play the packers just cant sit rodgers. its not right to put people in that situation. of course people love brett in green bay, but its rodgers time. and if he stinks, oh well. at least they found out sooner than later. they still have a young team and enough talent to win games for the next five years. if rodgers doesn't work out, at least they can fix it in time to still win. if favre were to stay and start, who knows what might happen. he might retire halfway through the season, he might stink, or leave after the season. so i think its better for the packers to part ways because now they have a lot less questions to think about and more time to work on winning games.

get one thing straight brett waz old he was going 2 give greenbay one year and thats it and i dont think he would of won the superbowl for them its a rebuilding stage so each year ur expecting brett farve 2 come and save ur team get over it hes old i would rather rebuild than keep him

the Packers are not going to stink without Favre  because they still ahve some amazing talent on the team.  The would be BETTER with Favre and I'm not sure about Rodgers longevity so I sure hope Brohm is good in the NFL because we WILL see him in 08.

But I do think Thompson is an idiot and his little puppet boy McCarthy sucks too.

well that great QB didn't want to be in Green Bay nor did he want to try to compete with Aaron to get his job back.  If he did he wouldn't be a Jet right now.  The guy quit plain and simple.  We moved on and so did he.   And why are you bashing two guys who brought this team from 4-12 to 8-8 to 13-3 last year??
