  1. I'm not sure what the question is.  Are you asking why they lay eggs in water instead of trees if they are tree frogs?

    Amphibians do not produce amniotic eggs like reptiles and birds do.  That means the eggs aren't protected from dessication.  Therefore, frogs, like all other amphibians, need to keep their eggs moist.
