  1. To begin with, they have no nervous system (So to speak) and no brain, which is what gives us our emotions.

However, there are some people who will tell you that trees do have feelings, as illogical as it may seem.

  2. As they are well settled ( grounded firmly ) before they rise upwards

  3. it is the perception only that varies..

in my perception, trees do have emotions..

I can see them enjoying the rains..

I can see them feeling lonely in great summers, simultaneously feeling joyous when kids play around them..

for me, they are the epitomes of tolerance..

  4. Plants feel hungry and thirsty, but they express their feelings differently than human beings. Talk to a gardener and he will explain it all to you.

  5. They don't have brain

  6. As far as i have felt plants/trees do have emotions..... the one who is really  attached to its plants and cares for them could felt that plants too have emotions..... you could yourself check this out!!! The tree to which you show love and give hugs will be more healthy and green than the one which is cursed by everyone!!! and this has been proved too in a case study..!!

  7. Plants do not need them evolutionarily, so they don't have them.  They merely need to grow and survive and reproduce, which they can do without emotions.
