  1. Love is a chemical reaction releasing a powerful spiritual energy within the individual. Love itself cannot be tragic. Those who profess to love, or find love only to be tempted by one of the many sins bring ruination to the name of love thereby. Love itself is pure and sacred, cleansing all touched by its spirit.

Rather it is lesser sacrilegious appendage’s attached to love to laud in its name, and by their lack of courage or fidelity, in their duplicity and greed on procuring the immense power of Love that shadow and marr love with tragedy, pain and betrayal.

  2. I do not think true love is tragic.

Young love tends to be tragic. Affairs tend to be tragic.

True love is always a gift, never tragic.

  3. When the love comes from altruistic intent rather than selfishness and/or ego then it's never really tragic.

    _()_

  4. It is simply a cursing. (see Genesis 3)

  5. True love isn't always tragic. In literature it can be tragic because it makes the reader value the sentiment, but in real life i find it's the opposite and that is that it's not appreciated. It only seems tragic because you don't know what you have til it's gone.

  6. The true love itself isn't tragic, it's wonderful.

When things happen to change the true love, that's tragic.

  7. because your statement is false

  8. To me false love is tragic ( infatuations).  Love in the real world is a job like everything else. People change from day to day from month to month and so on from deaths, births, jobs and etc. Just ask old couples that have been married for 50 years. There are good times and bad times. But, with hard work and a little elbow grease all works out in the end if indeed it is meant to be.

  9. I don't agree with you.All love should end with beautiful ending but, some love end with horrible ending because the wrong way we deal with it.

  10. It's complete vulnerability.

  11. true love is always tragic because when you fall in love you lose your senses and do stupid things

  12. because it breaks your heart and makes me cry.when they leave or die......but on the postive side I believe when the love is true it is eternal and the love we share with another soul is a spirit love that lasts this lifetime and all lifetimes we are connected in a big way...........

so Now that I think about it love is not so tragic after all when two souls love each other they will follow each other from this life to the next hehehe :)))I am a helpless loving romantic :)))

  13. I believe true love tends to be tragic. Of coarse all people are different so the way people respond to love ( true or not ) will always differ. But from a general out look I think true love is tragic because we compromise ourselves. We want it to work so bad that we give up things that are important to us. One the other hand if the love is true than it should be mutual... the other partner should not influence you to give up what is important to you.

True love is unconditional. That is a beautiful thing, but it can be really scary.

    sorry I rambled a bit!

  14. Love is like an eternal flame,

Once it is lit, it will continue to burn for all time.

  15. Interesting question you have there.

I myself am yet to experience it (I'm only a teen), but I believe it is the huge contrast between sharing that true love and when that love leaves for whatever reason that makes it so tragic.

You are so vulnerable in love, you share everything with that someone, you invest time in them, you think about them, you want them and you need them; when they're gone, it's like you've been thrown in the deep end with no direction - nothing to think about, nothing to share and no-one by your side.

That loneliness compared to what you had before is what seems so tragic; not the love itself.

  16. Because you've been watching too many Soap Opera's.

  17. because the most beautiful things in life come with a horrible cost.

    it's a pity, isn't it.

  18. Trauma creates is tragedy. And love is no solution nor is it salvation. Love is simple, it fixes nothing. What is tragic, is Love devoured by trauma.

  19. Sadly, the people I have loved the most--did not know how much I loved them.

As a young person I did not see the need for a whole lot of outward emotion.

I made my tragedy. Seeing emotion as a weakness. Seeing emotion as a silly display of affection. Now it is too late to repent. I was so mistaken. So arrogant to think I would appear "not in control of myself".

Long story short. This can be avoided. Hold someones hand when you walk. Look people in the eye when you truly care. and TELL THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE 'i love you!"

Life is so short. But it is so long when you have regret.

  20. always?

  21. For test and experience. =] test if its really a true love and experience for their future. =]

  22. first, is there such a thing as fake love? which led you to the idea that there is such a thing as true love, isnt true love redundant?
