Why type of license do I need (Ohio)?

Question

What sort of license do I need to buy vehicles at auction? I was going to call my county, but their are closed tomorrow. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You will need a dealers licence,meaning an auto dealership licence,Even if you sell used cars to buy at action you need this licence.In my state they are not cheap.about 1500,00 a year.however if you know a car salesman who buys for his lot you can probly go to the sale with him and have him bid for you.as long as you have the money to cover the sale.I know all  dealer auctions require this.but fed and state auctions to the public do,not .hope this helped.however not all states charge the same amount for this licence.Some are far cheaper.
