Why use 22 degree offset triple clamps on honda cr 250s?

the complexety of front steering geometry....

rake, offset, trail,    the combinations are endless,,

& why a bike company picks a particular number is beyond me..

but if they build a bike & find that it dosnt drop into corners quickly enough they may increase the angle to help with this...

or if a bike is prone to tank slapping the bars then they may increase trail....
