  1. So you can drink juice rather than spoon pulp into your mouth.

  2. :) I mostly blend veggie or shake drinks but sometimes I just want the carrot juice and no left overs of the carrot so I will use my juicer.  Same thing with beets. I love beet juice but do not like the taste of blended beets.  These are a few examples of why to use a juicer.  I use mine together to make some killer smoothies and shakes.  Just never get a cheap one, not worth the money and are more frustrating then anything.  Get a good well known one for juicing.

  3. I've tried to do that and the texture is not able to slide down my throat. With juicing, I can get a larger volume of nutrition than if I tried to eat, lets say, a handful of carrots.

  4. The reason you would juice rather than blend is because fiber slows the assimilation of nutrients. I f you want to absorb it right away then you would juice. Juicing removes the pulp and therefore the nutrients enter your bloodstream much more quickly than they would if the fiber were present.

  5. you can

but it would just be nasty with a fruit with seeds like a tomato

because a juicer cuts out the skin and the seeds and pulp

  6. because people want juice, not a pulpy smoothie type thing, im guessing.

  7. I think it depends on which texture you prefer. I like the blender more than the juicer.

  8. MY POINT EXACTLY!!! I always bleds my fruits...

  9. Because not all people like to drink pulp and other things like skin or seeds from apples and such.

Plus, you cant use blenders on all type of fruits and vegs, but juicers can even make juice out of herbs and other leafy things.

  10. Very good question!

Juicing gives your body the nutrients with out the slow down of fiber. It's more like a main-line of the food, no wait on digestion. You can take in more food value than eatting or drinking a blended verision of that same food when it's juiced.

I do both "Smoothies" in a Blender & Juicing.
