  1. Repubs only care about making the rich richer.

Thats the biggest reason I can't stand them.

Dems care about helping the poor,

    Go Obama

  2. Republican:

Admires the work on the military

Doesn't give free hand-outs to those less deserving

All for AMERICA drilling so we don't have to rely on the foreigners.

    Proud to be an AMERICAN

    Defends AMERICA

    Democrats:

Takes from the middle class in order to support the lower class

    Controlling

Wants to initate ideas not true solutions (Nacy Poleski)

Will decrease military funding (this has already been proven in the past)

Willing to allow the illeagal immigrants to take our jobs and not do anything about it.

  3. Vote republican if you think the country is going in the right direction.  i.e. 7 trillion dollar deficit and a unecessary war.  Vote democrat if you want a better economy and more diplomacy.  By the way, if you look at white house.gov and look at economic statistics.  You will find that every time a republican has been in office, the national debt has increased.  So, the republican policy of lowering taxes doesn't work, because they still spend lots of money on things like the military, but with lowered taxes you have no way of paying for the spending, thus, the debt increases.

  4. why vote republican-

The base of republican belief are the conservatives.  Conservative belief is based on the idea that the responsibility of the government is to ensure that the rights currently in place are not violated, and that the government does not impede a persons ability to legally and ethically make the best life for themselves.  As a part of that belief, they believe that the government should cut spending as much as possible, and allow citizens to keep most of their money to use in a way that they determine is best.

    Why vote democrat?

The core of democratic voters are liberal.  The liberal belief is that the government's responsibility is to ensure the well-being of all citizens.   They believe that higher taxes are part of the price to be paid to ensure a better life for all citizens of the United States.  As a result, they believe that the government is also responsible for fixing problems facing citizens.

I personally tend to be republican (I'm conservative) because my belief is that you should be responsible for yourself.  Someone who doesn't want to care for themselves should not reap the same benefits as someone who is trying their best to better themselves.  All people should not be equally rewarded for unequal amounts of work.  I also believe that the government screws up most things they control (like public schools, social security, etc.), therefore they should not control things that affect us.  You're free to decide which sounds best for you though, that's the beauty of America.

  5. If you'd rather pay higher taxes and have the government take care of you from the cradle to the grave, (basically living in a socialist society) then you vote Democrat.

If you believe in individual achievement and limited government, then you vote Republican. (and live in a free society)

Granted, not every Democrat is a socialist, and not every Republican is a strict Constitutionalist, but that's how I make the distiction.

Interesting that those who think the Democratic party is the party of the middle class and the poor, don't realise that Liberal policies do more to KEEP these socio-economic groups where they are, then they do to actually help them excel in their lives.
