  1. This is yet another case where a government  is guilty of auto-genocide - ie the killing of its own people.This entire thing insults the generosity of the world community and raises the question as to how long we are expected to wait before daring to do the unthinkable. Which is to invade the country and save the people  then put the ruling junta on trial, for crimes against its own people.

    Relief teams have been waiting for nearly two days all over South East Asia and have been told to apply for visas.


  2. The UN actually said no to Iraq.

    And MYANMAR (not BURMA anymore) is refusing humanitarian aid because they want to protect their currently delicate sovereignty. Entering at this point would require a declaration of war, which probably isn't going to save any babies.

  3. How much good could you do if you're laying on the side of the road filled full of lead? That's the reason we need their authorization to go in.
