Why want my car start?

92 Lexus ES 300 she shut down and will not start.There is gas and it will turn over nothing else.Auto store said there is no 'brain box' so what else could it be?

I had a problem with my Volvo doing that and the mechanic found a bad sensor - my car basically did not get the message that it did have enough gas to start.

Take it to a mechanic that has a diagnostic machine - that is how mine finlay found the bad sensor.
