  2. While I am not a friend of Bill, I will say that in my opinion, it’s contradiction to the core issue of separation of powers to allow the senate to move on an issue of impeachment in regard to lying about s*x in a civil deposition,

    In our society we set a scale when we talk about specific infractions of our social contract with the state, so if you believe the legislative branch should have the power to remove the executive branch based solely on the play of words of s*x, then what you suggest relates to a parliament government style  


  3. Because most the Republicans populating the Senate are a bunch of spineless wienies.  They decided in the smoke-filled rooms before the trial even started that, regardless of the evidence presented, they would vote what they thought was politically expedient rather than what was right.

    He wasn't convicted.

  5. He was convicted of pergury after he left office which was a felonly.

    He was also given clemency by Jimmy Carter in 19777 for draft

    dodging a fact he managed to keep hidden for decades.
