Why was Estelle's album, "Shine" and single "American Boy" removed from the iTunes Store...?

...and replaced with a cover version, that is a pathetic attempt, if that. They still offer the album on other International stores, like the Canada Store.

Does anyone know - just curious. =]

I asked that question in a search engine and apparently the record label pulled it to try to pressure iTunes into marketing albums as one purchase without allowing you to purchase individual songs.

For an unknown reason, the American Boy remixes, and the Album "Shine" were taken off of the US iTunes store.

I dont use iTunes, so im not really sure on that. But i LOVE that song American Boy...it has such a nice beat to it. Sorry i cant help :/
