Why was Francis Michael Forde only an Australian Prime Minister for 8 days? HELP!!!?

I am doing a school project on him but because he was only in office for 8 days I can't find very much info on him.

If you could give me some info or a good website or tell me why he was Prime Minister for 8 days, that would be greatly appreciated.
