  1. He was too weak, being highly religious almost to the point of obssession. He was easily dominated by certain characters at court & had favourites. His wife was hated by the English for being French and she was a very dominating figure also. Henry was bad at decision making, changing his mind often & couldn't provide good impartial advice.
