Why was I circumcised when I was a kid because my p***s was itchy? And was there any other way out of it?

I'm thinking I was circumcised because it became dirty as it itched? Wasn't there like a way to clean it without surgery?

What was this thing called?

  1. its your parents choice. if you're american, its common anyways, most people get it done for no reason.

if you're American, then the docs and you parents made the decision that it would be best for you. you may have been able to clean it, but perhaps they concluded that it would be too much of a problem

  2. That's crazy, having an itchy p***s is no reason for circumcision. Was that the only symptom and was anything else tried first? It was probably some sort of fungal or yeast infection that could be treated by washing or using a cream. Or maybe improper care caused it. Sorry you had to be circumcised - sadly some doctors, especially in the USA, are ignorant about the f******n and think it needs to be removed whenever something goes wrong (unlike most other body parts where removal is considered the very last option). But they get more money from the surgery than not, which is also a factor.

I can't think of a serious itchy condition that would necessitate circumcision, but there could be something. Can you find your medical records or something?

  3. It's called pulling the f******n back.

  4. That's just an excuse you are being given.  I'm sorry that someone violated your person and circumcised you.  We do not permit female circumcision because we recognize it to be a barbaric assault on persons based on a religious claim.  We should recognize the same thing with male circumcision, so that future generations of boys are not mutilated like we were.

    Kind thoughts,

  5. I was also circumsized when I was a baby.  i dont really know why, nor do I care.  I cant remember having a f******n, and honeslty, I'm happy as long as my p***s works - and it does.

It still does the same job(s) as it would have done with the f******n.  Be lucky ya got what ya got.

  6. It's a contentious issue, my understanding is that the medical reason usually quoted for circumcision is because it is tight, and therefore difficult to pull back and keep clean. In some areas, especially but not exclusively hot countries It is done as a matter of course. There are people that think this is wrong when there is no medical need, and is in fact  an abuse. I have heard of people actually using weights to encourage the stretching and reforming  of a f******n. My personal feeling is that you are not at a great disadvantage and in fact many women prefer it that way.  However the idea of cutting bits off people without good medical reason does seem very wrong to me, and I can see why men get angry about it .

Not sure what the "thing" is that you refer to.

  7. boys are circumcised for two reasons , one health reasons and two religious reasons , if you are not Jewish it was likely in order to prevent future infections

  8. Usually the redness/soreness/itchy reason is because some people are taught to pull back their son's f******n to clean it when it should really be left alone.  An infant f******n is "glued" to the head so pulling it back can cause damage, and if done repeatedly... along with the overuse of soap, can cause redness/soreness and potentially lead to infection... which is usually the "itchy" thing you are talking about.

Of course, this can be prevented with proper care of the p***s.  As an infant you just wash the p***s like a finger, no retraction is necessary.  Later on when it becomes retractable only a simple rinse is needed... soap can be used occasionally, but since it kills bad and good bacteria it can also cause problems.... just like it can for girls.

Those 3 issues caused by improper care lead many people to think the f******n is unhealthy or dirty, when really the problem is how they are cleaning.

  9. Circumcision is NEVER necessary.    Any condition of the f******n has other treatments, but the doctors seldom offer alternative treatments as they make money from circumcision and are frequently members of the minority religious groups that try to impose this archaic, cruel and barbaric practice on others.

I have no idea why it was done to you, I was also a victim of male genital mutilation as an infant.

What you can do is consider f******n restoration.    I'm restoring mine, and thousands of other guys, also.   Type in f******n restoration on your browser and you will find all sorts of resources.

The oils don't work; they're expensive and don't do anything at all.

There are a lot of devices; I'm using the TLC Tugger.

In my case, male genital mutilation destroyed more than the average amount of sensitivity, due to the nerve damage.    I was unable to reach o****m in normal s*x, and finally discovered f******n restoration, which has increased my sensitivity and the intensity of orgasms, also.

A f******n is not a birth defect; it is a birthright.

  10. of course there's a way .. it is very simple and natural - clean it at least twice a day. you need circumcision if you can't urinate because of a tight 'f******n'

  11. it was probably phimosis or balanitis.  two conditions which cause irritation of the p***s and can make urinating painful

here are sites that talk about circumcision. the reasons, why its done and the benefits.

  12. because in america people don't use reason, if you have a p***s problem and you are intact the solution is you must be circumcised (regardless of any less invasive or even if circumcision will solve the problem) however if you are circumcised and have a p***s problem then it's just too bad there's nothing that can be done

it's amazing that in this day of age that any problem of the gentials is treated by amputation, it's very sad
