I tried a new sushi restaurant near my house today. I had an order of sushi and a salad. At the end of my meal, the server brought me 2 frozen purple grapes. Is there a specific reason for that?

  2. they brought you the frozen grapes to "cleanse the palate," in preparation for whatever you may eat next.  it's not about being "foreign," it's about being "upscale."  Many many restaurants do this, no matter what the cuisine is.  SIGH.

    p.s., frozen grapes are awesome.

  3. i've never had frozen grapes but i have heard that they are delicious.  did you try them?

i guess they don't get frozen, just kinda solid.

  4. they probably forgot to thaw it out before serving it to you

  5. Because in a lot of Chinese and Japanese restaurants , they serve fruits because it is their tradition to eat fruits every day at a time you are eating. Or maybe it is good for  your health.

Even if you got to any restaurant related to chinese , they will surely seve you any fruit.

  6. omg eww idk??? Its japaneese or chineese or however u want to say it. They are foriegn they do different things... DUH but eww i totally agree bud
