  1. Jesus had to be born into one ethnicity or another. He could not be born into several! So, no matter which one it turned out to be, those of another ethnicity would ask the same question you have asked. Why the descendants of Abraham and Isaac? The Bible does not so much explain why, as why not.

Just before the nation of Israel went into the promised land, Moses warned them to remember that it was God - going ahead of them - who would drive the other nations out from before them. Then Moses said, "After the Lord your God has driven them out before you, do not say to yourself, 'The Lord has brought me here to take possession of this land because of my righteousness.' No, it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the Lord is going to drive them out before you. It is not because of your righteousness or your integrity that you are going in to take possession of their land, but on account of the wickedness of these nations, the Lord your God will drive them out before you, to accomplish what he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob... for you are a stiff-necked people." (Gen 9:4-6)

None of us have the right to pick and choose or to think ourselves superior to others. We need to remember that we are but as dust - a grain of sand on the sea-shore. God need not show us any favours at all, but to those who do experience his grace, we should humbly point to him as the One who shows mercy to those whom he chooses. Jesus came, as God incarnate, to continue the revelation of how God deals with us sinners through his covenants. Israel was in covenant relationship with God. So are Christians, and this through the grace of God, not because of anything we do, or don't do.

  2. well if he was born of another race, say chinese then it would be hard to piece the story together. if the jews were the ones waiting for him and he was born in china there is a lack of communication and he would be lost to history.

and it does seem silly that god only spoke to the jews. but at the same time it makes sense. he used them to spread his message. after all how would you communicate to the world? you go through a median. like these forums. you use these forums to reach an audience, but not the whole world uses this. you rely that the people who read this communicate to those who dont, and a message/idea/thought spreads.

and the idea of adam and eve is not ment to be a physical true story. the whole point is to be a metaphore. the idea was to teach followeres that god made man, learn your place. you are greater than the beast but not god. he made you and yhour world. well adam eve was a way to tell that story and get the message across. the teaching that creation was "actual story" wasnt widely taught till just a few hundred yeras ago, before it was mainly taught as a symbolic way, not fact...

science is not false. science helps the story in some ways. after all the 7 day story follows the basic outline of science creation. heavens, earth, water, plants, fish, animals, people. evolution is a much more complicated and detailed outline of it.

  3. the jewish nation was the only nation that did remained faithful to God, but adam and Eve had no race, but had all the races in them, and Peter received a vision that the gentiles would be adopted into the the family of God or the body of Christ.

  4. It's a "Chosen People" thing.

  5. I don't know the answer to why Christ was a Jew.  All I can say is that God had a purpose and reason for all of it.

As far as "Archaeologists [finding] the oldest recorded human" is false.  Science can not find an exact age, only approximate.  There is no possible way an exact age can be found.  There are multiple variables that could make it "age" faster or slower depending on the elements around it.  Was the soil and rocks around it contaminated, has the decay rate of elements been constant over time, and so on.  Basically, when someone finds something and tests it using their own assumptions the result isn't always correct.

So when you read about findings, you can either trust God as the ultimate power and authority as well as the thousands of scientist, geologists, archaeologist, astronomers, etc. who also trust God, or you can choose to trust men who are shooting in the dark, making their own assumptions based on their own findings?

Who do you choose to believe?

  6. Jesus was born as a jew, because the hebrews were God's chosen people.  This is by virtue of the extreme faith that Abraham placed in God, to the point of willingly sacrificing his only legitimate son to God.  For this intention of devotion, God blessed Abraham and maintained a relationship with the hebrew people throughout history.  Jewish history shows that when Israel followed God and kept in his ways, they prospered, and when they disregarded God's law and lapsed into pagan ways, they suffered.  Throughout jewish history God guided the people with prophets, who were messengers carrying advice and instruction from God, warning the people of the consequences of their actions.  All of these prophets told of a messiah who was to come, who would build up the relationship between man and god, and would renew the covenant made with Abraham, and make the Kingdom of the Lord universal.  Jesus was the fulfillment of that prophecy.  When the Jews rejected him, he cast his net wider, for he came for all mankind.

Without thousands of years of jewish tradition and history, Jesus would have been just another cult figure. It could have been another group that God chose, and you would stillbe asking that same question about them.

For the second part of your question, mitochondrial DNA analysis shows that the human race had a common single point female ancestor approximately 400,000 years ago in east africa.  Further examination and distribution of mitochondrial and Y chromosome haplotypes shows that the bulk of the non-african world radiated out from a point source near the eastern shores of the Caspian sea.  The story of Adam and Eve is as much a polemic on the relationship of Man and God and creation as it is anything else.  It is a rough description of what happened couched in the frame of reference of people who did not travel far and had no concept of the idea of millions of years, had no chemistry, astronomy, physics, geology or genetics. It should not be taken as a literal word for word scientific treatise on the origin of man.

  7. Is science false?  yes because they have preconceived notions and Ideals. The oldest living human has now been found in china so now they are starting to say that life began in China.

Where ever they find the oldest skeleton they will say that is where life began.

  8. All of the answers you seek can be found in "The Holy Bible".  Christianity was made possible by Jesus dying on the cross. It was then the responsibility of His Disciples and those who have accepted Him to spread the Gospel over the entire World. Sadly, not everyone has the freedom that we have to worship Him.

Please be assured, that The Bible is TRUE.

    Check out the resources below.

  9. don't confuse your self. God does what he wants to when he wants to, and he doesn't have to tell us why. Im not trying to be rude, but that's just how it is.

  10. well science also said they we came from monkeys.  draw your own conclusion

  11. just a decision God made....we cant 2ndguess God.

  12. to save the world (you) who belive in him

  13. God selected the Jewish people to be His servants, so He could establish a relationship with them, thus revealing Himself as the One, true God of the Universe.  God did this through various Covenants and through the revealing of His Word to the Jews, which was written down and is now known as the Tanakh, or "Old Testament."

However, the Jews broke the Mosaic Covenant (Jeremiah Chapter 3), necessitating a New Covenant, which was promised by the following:

Jeremiah 31:31 “Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— 32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the LORD. 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

The most important point here is that the New Covenant would initially be with the Jewish people.  (This is the reason why Paul repeatedly wrote that the New Covenant is for the Jew FIRST -- because of the Jews' special status as a chosen people.)

Secondly, the New Covenant was prophesied to be delivered by Someone who came during the time of the Second Jewish Temple:

Malachi 3:1 "And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," Says the LORD of hosts.

Later, exactly as prophesied by Malachi and Jeremiah, Jesus delivered the New Covenant to the Jewish people.  While most rejected the Covenant, many accepted -- and the rest is history.

  14. Have you researched this because it seems you have some stuff mixed up here.

Jewish is not a race, but a religion.

He was born into the Jewish world because that is where all of the holy land and trouble was at the time. There was need to be born into America because the American Indians had no trouble of the sort. They didn't need the lesson.

Ethiopia was at one time a fertile crescent land. There used to be a fertile river running through it.

Even if they weren't in Ethiopia, then know that science has also proved that the oldest living human was much older than what time frame the bible states Adam and Eve lived.

  15. Abraham the father of the jews came from Iraq... He became Jewish via circumcision, and his descendants there after. It was his respect and faithfulness which God honoured.... The blessings that has saved all mankind came from a dude originally born in Iraq! So Jews and all middle eastern people are all one family after all Abraham's other son is Ishmael ! Go figure!

  16. he came down through the line of peope who had been faithful to God, the jewish people were first promised a place with God, because of the faithfulness of abraham
