I would have thought that it was a pre-requisite.

Surely Jim wasn't wrong?

  1. I believe he said a whole lot more than that.  I didn't see the programme, but read a report.  He's offensive to loads of people: women, ethnic minorities, homosexuals - everyone except white men in fact.  Removing him is not "PC gone mad" it's simple good manners to the majority.

  2. It was more his clearly homophobic/sexist/chauvanistic attitude all round that caused offence.

  3. Whether or not Davison was wrong, his remark was offensive and thoughtless. Should he have been thrown off a reality TV show for it? Don't know, don't care.

But it isn't a pleasant term to use, and he must know and not care that it causes offence. It's unnecessary.

I'm sure that if you are that interested in homosexual practices there are plenty of web sites where you can find the information you require.

  4. Did you watch the programme in which he said it?  He wasnt just saying it - he caused offence and a lot of upset by saying it to someones face! I cant stand the bloke!

  5. He's just another Bernard Manning! Nasty!

  6. Does that mean I can call Davidson a talentless washed up alcoholic?

  7. Jim Davidson was spot on with his judgement of brian

but because the pc army are full of no win no fee lawyers

everyone is scared of court action if they call a poof a poof

I for one will stand up and be counted,

  8. It is homophobic. Get it?

Are straight people referred to as leg-separaters?

And anyway, since when was anal s*x the sole preserve of the g*y community?

Jim Davidson is a weasel. A cretin. A racist and a bigot. Anyone who finds the little twerp amusing should be sectioned.

  9. It is a homophobic expression and it's very offensive

  10. hey i get called a black bastad all the time...black YES not quite a bastad though and i take no offence about personnal comments........me being black,i have endured years of what some would say racist comments,im black and proud and only people who are ashamed of their colour, sexuality or such like take offence......a BRIT,SCOT or even a TURK take no offence for first four letters used so why does a p**i.........pc in britain stinks

  11. PC gone mad.

  12. It would appear that free speech is a thing of the past, although I find most of Jim Davison's remarks offensive nobody should be told what they can and can't say.

  13. Actually some of us dont wear shirts you .Are you a skirt puller downer by that logic?

Dowling is annoying, bit so is Ainsley Harriot but we dont think its ok to call him stuff.

He was thrown off for decent manner's sake,it wasnt a political or issue item he was on,it was a cookery show for d -list nobodies,so the rules are different.

ANYONE WHO SAYS ITS PC GONE MAD WILL GET THEIR SHIRTLIFTED BY ME!!!!!!!!

  14. I agree, everyone on the show should have been able to freely refer to him as 'wife smacker'
