  1. Mattie died on June 22nd 2004 from Dysautonomic Mitochondrial Myopathy. He was only 13, 3 weeks shy of his 14th

    Mattie was a gifted poet he wrote about 7 books one of which was recently given to me "Heart songs". And the national good will ambassador for MDA, even giving public speeches.

    His motto is just lovely "Think gently, speak gently, live gently."
