Question:

Why was Ray Nagin the only man who left the DNC Convention to prepare for Hurricane Gustov?

Gustov is just a Tropical Storm off of Jamaica right now... but if it goes over the warm waters of the Gulf it could become another devastating Hurricane...

Ray Nagin, the infamous mayor of New Orleans when Katrina hit, has already packed his bags and left the convention to help prepare his city...

Should some other folks go down and help him out this time?

  1. He's spend the last few years trying to get his welfare democrats back to N.O. to vote. He don't want them scattered all over the country this time.

  2. BTW how come the media including that evil FOX news never apologized for the false reporting of murders and gang rapes going on in the Superdome? I think the final count was one heart attack but i never heard anyone say yeah we were reporting rumors with no fact checking?

  3. What does the DNC convention have to do with hurricane preparedness anyway? Is it not that the job of whom is ever in charge....ie... the Bush admin and his FEMA appointees?

  4. Some other folks such as our current president maybe instead of sending an Arabian horse breeder down there to assess the damage?

I read that it is due to hit the coast next week during the Republican convention.  I feel so sorry for the people of N.O today.  My god, we must all somehow lend our support if they are devastated again.

  5. I suppose when you have that many deaths hanging over you, repeating the same mistakes wouldn't be all that smart.  I can't believe I found someone who would actually defend what could only be described as the most incompetent elected official of our time.

Why would anyone help him, they have not cleaned up since Katrina.  If he were actually prepared why would he have to leave?  Wait, Wait, let me guess, he is actually going to drive a bus...

  6. Is he going to go and wave goodbye to his welfare pets in the Superdome and leave buses in a parking lot again?  Let me guess, the excuse this time will be that gas was too much to drive the buses and again it will be the president's fault.

  7. hi

  8. Maybe because he felt scared by the hurricane. Only smart people fleeing a natural disaster or continue his career.

Remember that if you were a mayor and your city was devastated by a hurricane that you would sequels in mind and feel scared just by a tropical storm. In addition, today it is normal to be afraid of something, not everyone is superman in this life, actually, nobody is it.

    ... or yes? ....

      I'm just joking!

  9. School bus Ray must NOT be allowed to run the show this time around because lives are at stake. This guy couldn't lead a boy scout troop on a weekend campout, let alone make decisions in an impending disaster!  I hope somebody there has locked him in his room like a misbehaved child and has commandeered every city bus, church bus, school bus etc. The world is watching, please don't xxxx this up again.
