Question:

Why was Reinhard Heydrich so unafraid of travelling around with so little protection?

Heydrich was a cruel and heartless person, but that doesn't mean he was idiotic enough to travel without an armed escort. Did he really believe that no one would attack him? Or did something else prompt him to do this?

  2. perhaps because he had nothing he cared about losing.

  3. He probably lived for revenge yes. As stated in an earlier post

  4. He wanted to be a human provocation (certainly not  to die, but to be attacked) in order to take high grade revenge afterwards.
