Why was Timhenman such an overwhelming favorite when he played at Wimbledon?

In 2001 he beat Roger Federer at Wimbledon in 4 sets who had just beaten Sampras. Therefore its logical to believe that Tim Henman was the favorite to win Wimbledon in 2001 but was unlucky to lose in SF.

  1. Man you're asking some crazy questions. Tim Henman was never a favorite to win WImbledon. Yes he was unlucky to lose to Goran, but he was never going to beat Rafter in the final.
