  1. storm surge. the higher the storm surge the more people that die due to drowning. its not the winds that kill most people its the water.

  3. because it unexpectedly and rapidly pounded regions such as the Toronto region with winds that reached up to 110 km/hour and dropped record amounts of rainfall (285 millimetres) in only 48 hours. It also left alot of people homeless and killed people.
