  1. Sounds LIke OD..  Oxygen Debt...  There is no magic way to breath.  Breathing to hard and forcing yourself to breath when your not fit will cause that burning sensation in the chest.  Training aleaviates it but there is times even someone in shape is going to get that burn in the chest.  Breath naturally sont try to change your breathing.  Youve been doing it since you where born.  The main thing to remember is to try and stay relaxed and your breathing will benefit from it.

  2. Its definitely time to see the doc. Heart problems often feel like pain in your whole chest, not just the left side. Do it now. No excuse.

  3. That happens to me too when I first start training at the beginning of every XC season. I was told that it was because since your heart is a muscle, it strengthens & grows, too & that is what is causing the pain.

  4. You haven't run for a while - there is your answer

Go again, but build distance up gradually

Breathing, that is kinda natural, I can do it in my sleep. But then if you are conscious of it, just breathe deeply, but don't make a big thing of it.
