Why was my mail returned to me?

Question

I mailed out a resume to a woman in California and it was returned to me, with a notice on the front reading:

MAIL NOT FORWARDED AT THE

REQUEST OD THIS CSA MEMBER

PLEASE RETURN TO SENDER

What does that mean?

The recipient has requested that no mail be forwarded to them. You might want to call her and get an up-to-date address,unless she really does not want to hear from you.

You stated it was a resume...maybe this was just a scam? (?) possible. Call and see if she gives you a different address.

Either you forgot a stamp, wrote down the direction in the wrong place, or the person you were sending it to cancelled that address.
