Tiger, don't be so quick to dismiss the conspiracy part.  Your question dealt with why telling the truth is politically incorrect.  It's politically incorrect to behave in defiance of what Feminists deem to be politically correct so by asking politically incorrect questions about what may or may not be politically correct, this is politically incorrect and the arbiters of political correctness (Feminists) have a strong backing at Y!A headquarters which makes sure that if you're not on the right team, you're politically incorrect and dispensable (as all men are per Feminist dogma).

So as a full answer to your question, telling truth is politically incorrect since as it violates the rules of political correctness which the police of political correctness (feminists) deem politically incorrect and worthy of suppression.
