Well, the U.S. did manage to disqualify a Korean skater to give Apolo Anton Ono a gold medal and steal from another gymnast to give midget Paul Hamm a gold medal, so I bet they're gonna find a way to put the U.S. relay team into the finals.

In the mens they just didn't bother to finish once they dropped the baton.  it said DNF next to their name= did not finish

sorry i did'nt watch the women's so i couldn't tell you but they wouldn't get DQ because the men did

I don't think they were DQ'd. The men didn't finish. The women did but they came in last.

Both of them. Final change-overs and they dropped the baton. Britain (my country) too. The last bloke ran off too soon. I would've thought they'd have had that sorted out before getting to the Olympic semi-final!

If you're talking about the relays, they both dropped the baton and had to walk back, and out of their own lane, to retrieve it.
