  1. because as inconvenient as it is to believe that global warming is a problem (b/c then we have 2 deal w/it) its still a truth

  2. As we mellow, age and otherwise become aware of our surroundings as they have impacted or are impacting on our lives and those that we love, we find ourselves in the same spot as Al Gore.

It weaves in events that changed his worldview, including his college education with early climate expert Roger Revelle at Harvard University, his sister's death from lung cancer, and his young son's near-fatal car accident. Throughout the film, Gore makes comments regarding his loss to George W. Bush in the 2000 United States presidential election. For comic effect, Gore also uses a clip from the Futurama episode "Crimes of the Hot" to explain global warming.

To sum it up. It's political, Bush Bashing and nothing short of an economic venture. Has anyone "asked Al Gore" how come he "buys air pollution units" so he can over pollute the air more than is allowed with his personal jet world travels? Huh? Huh? Of course not! Remember the other "truth" Al Gore made about him "inventing the Internet", yeah right!

Take An Inconvenient Truth with a LARGE grain of salt and perhaps a good tequila shot. That's all it's worth.

  3. It's because it is inconvenient for people to stop some of their wasteful habits and face the truth. It is inconvenient for people to face the truth about global warming.

  4. Because there is very little TRUTH in it!

  5. cause ppl dont want to believe that the world is being destroyed by human actions because it is inconvenient to do something about it

  6. Because it was Inconvenient for the producers of the film,

To use the truth in the film.

Thats why they just made it up as they went.

Even as far as using stolen theater sound stage footage, used in a hollywood movie.

And trying to pass it off as proof of global warming.

Not tol mention the outright fabrications,

Like the oceans may rise 20 feet, when every scientist in the world, says 20 inch's at max.

  7. Because its a political movement and people whom arent educated will believe anything, especially those whom dont believe in God.I scoff that Al's planned to put out  a few more million dollars to keep it alive, why, wasnt it enough before, why is he trying so hard to make us believe in what he calls science(science by the way is not up for a vote, and thats all a consensus is).

  8. I guess they thought it had a nice sound to it. Also, they are trying to impress upon us the fact that we must inconvenience ourselves in order to save the world from global warming. People say that water supplies are running out in certain areas. Near some of these areas, there are waterways that could be opened to increase the amount of water. Why haven't they done it yet? Fish! Endangered species of fish live in these areas, so they don't want to harm them. What is more important: a fish or a person?

  9. Because an attempt to use truth in that "documentary" was very inconvenient for Gore.

  10. You'd have to ask Al!

  11. His feeble attempt at a catchy title?

  12. The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, free medical, $600 economic stimulus, etc.

While we continually lose our freedoms - just a little at a time.

One should always remember: There is no such thing as a free lunch! Also, a politician will never provide a service for you cheaper than you can do

    it yourself.

  13. Its called "An Inconvenient Truth" because many people aren't aware of what their habits do to our Earth. Granted, Al Gore didn't use a whole lot of truth in his movie but, its a starting point.
