  2. It wasn't a failure. The UNMK established Kosovo's Provisional Institutions of Self-Government and the well-respected Kosovo Police Service. And if it hadn't been for the UN Peacekeeping Force, the inter-ethnic violence would surely have been a lot worse.

  3. It was a failure because the UN and the Clinton administration took a Serbian province and is handing it over to an Albanian insurgency. The common thought is that it was done to appease the muslims and keep mideast jihadists from entering into the fray as was done in Bosnia. It didn't work.

    Concerning Kosovo, they turned their faces away when a superpower invaded a third world country and caused a humanitarian catastrophe.
