Why was the medicine "Uristat" recalled?

I have taken it and went to buy more. They told me it was recalled but did not know why. Does anyone know?

I've already been to the doctor for the infection.

Johnson and Johnson does not say it was recalled.

I called Uristat 1877 URISTAT and they relate that It was recalled, totally, voluntarily due to a "lack of stability testing for shelf-life."
