Because the person who uploaded the video committed a violation of the youtube rules. Cause and effect. Hope this helps

Simple copyright can be enough. Yes I know youtube is filled with copyright violations but that doesn't change the fact it can still be used to get videos taken down.  Youtube can't afford to keep such a video on once it's reported because they can be sued. There are many rules on youtube, they only need to report
