Shortage of land, it also gives them a lot of money. So their economy is going to be doing very well. Why weren't these islands created before in Dubai? thats my question. This is going to help Dubai out a lot. In fact the islands already have.

As Dubai is a small emirate of the UAE, and ofcourse most populated and still the industry and business sector is growing rapidly, the need of land is very much...

So they creating the artificial islands, anyhow obviously they are getting much of money from the same too...

You may aware that the housing rent, and rates of Dubai...

It is now going to the highest even we can't imagine...

to bring in money. those homes (actually, they're villas) sell for millions.

there was no actual need to create new islands in Dubai, except for the needs of the customers

Showing off and wasting money.

Eventually the oil will run out so they want to have all this tourism stuff to fall back on. good idea, I guess.

lot of money nothing to do  let them put little to sea ., coz some ll get job ., some ll get business., others something else.,others can enjoy it

Because people are prepared to pay a lot of money to live on them.  Ocean front real estate has a high premium and in the Palm Jumeria everyone can have a beach front villa.
