Why was there no caution when Jr's car was scattering debris all over the track?

The tape is there to hold the car together, when the tape comes off, what holds the car together?

The only thing that was flapping from the back of JR'S car was tape, but I'm sure that Mark N will be along shortly crying about how JR caused 3 flat tires tonight! WHAH! WHAH! They must be JGR fans!

gah, give it a rest- bunch of haters...NASCAR reviewed it and he did not endanger the safety and clean-up crews and there was no debris on the track, it was just dangling off his car!

I don't know, but probably the same reason he didn't have to serve his penalties for speeding and all that.

yeah they said that they had penalized him but after reviewing the footage they realized he hadnt endangered any pitcrew members so lifted it. jr isnt the only one who has ever caught a brake as far as penalties.

If the debris coming off JR's car had posed a risk to the rest of the field then they would have thrown a caution but obviously it wasn't plus they probably didn't want a repeat of the nationwide race and have it end under caution.

Say what you want,  they took back the penalty.  After a review.   Did you not listen.   There has been a few out there that never got penalties that should have too,.   Not just Junior.

Ya know? reading this section proves that alot of people spend more time on here typing then they do watching and listening to the races. Before, thats b e f o r e... Jr lost a tire, while leading by over 4 seconds! several other guys lost a tire and hit the wall and brought out the yellow and returned to run in the lead lap too. And correct me if I am wrong please but they too were leading when it happened. I like Smoke too, even though I am a Jr fan and had surrendered to the fact that Jr was going to finish way back. Then smoke blew a tire, then Denny and Carl ran out of gas. Was that Jr's fault too? I am trilled that Jr led the most laps and finished 5th. Thats a lot better than it could have turned out.

Matt Kenseth had a busted windsheild due to debris that did not come off Jr's car. Kyle Busch had taped on peices after he hit another car trying that off the banking pass that succeeded without a crash this time. Kurt Busch lost a peice off his car too did Jr hit that and lost a tire? Nope.

NASCAR took back their 1 lap penalty and placed Jr at the end of the feild because he did not do anything hazardous to any other car or worker. Kyle too was placed to the rear. They both finished well dispite having more reasons to DNF then to finish.

With so many cars damaged by blown tires how do you even know it came off of Dale's? Or even if a peice of debris caused Tony or Denny to loose a tire? You must just be fuming because instead of giving up the 88 team pulled it together and finished well. Sign of things to come from a championship caliber team.

Yeah, it is amazing the back bumper flexing and flopping in the wind.  It sure had many pieces missing from it...  Bobbie yep I am here.  But it's ok Jr. didn't win he was the 4th loser...

It was either tape or sheet metal and it wasn't bothering anyone else, but he should've been black flaged to remove it.

You obviously were'nt watching the same race I was. The only thing I saw dangling off that car was a piece of tape, and I wasn't watching it on TV either, I was in the 5th row between turns 1 and 2 close enough that when Vickers hit the wall in front of us we got sprayed with c**p from his car.
