  1. During the middle ages, the spread of catholicism and christianity was at large. Many religious crusades were implemented during that time and that was one of the main causes of violence. Also the struggle for power between nations caused a lot of war because more land meant more power, and gaining land meant invasions.


  2. Because the world was not completely discovered an people were fight to keep power as well as enforce it. Oh, and a ot of it was related to religion as well.

  3. For the same reasons that there is so much violence today.
