Why was this dog entered in an Ugly Dog Compition??

Why? There was all these ugly dogs, and here someone enters an English Bull Dog. Can you say cute? It was all white with brown eyes. It looked just like Meaty from Rob&Big.

i dont know i think that the bull dog should not have been entered cause it would lose either way its to cute

I love mtv & I love rob&big they are ledgends (& very funny)...

I don't normally like bull dogs but all white ones are so cute...

Unfortunately  all dogs of any breed that are totally white are considered unfit to mate because they do not meet the standard for their breed.  Therefore they are viewed as ugly and prone to sickness.  I happen to think they are cute and special.

English bulldogs are one of those "love 'em or hate 'em" kind of breeds.  Some folks think they're adorable (I do) and others think that smooshed face is ugly.  

To each their own.  Some folks also don't like hairless dogs, I think they're adorable, too :).

And for the guy who said "all white" dogs are unsuitable for breeding, this is untrue.  White Boxers aren't used for breeding because they don't meet the breed standard and are prone to deafness.  But there are plenty of breeds where all-white is a perfectly acceptable color and it's associated with NO problems.  Pit Bulls, Argentine Dogos, Samoyeds, American Eskimos, Poodles, Westies, and Bulldogs, to name just a few.  

It depends on the GENE that causes the whiteness....the white coloration in Boxers is actually a mutation of the piebald gene (same gene that makes Dalmatians spotted).....and it's also why many white Boxers are deaf.

Its not the cutest thing i have seen, but t far from ugly. But i guess it is just personal taste, maybe the owners thought it would win in the ugly dog compition i dunna
