  1. Because there were no legitimate, provable grounds on which too impeach. Dislike of the type you harbor does not constitute grounds. In order to remove a President indisputable evidence is required. This is what was lacking. The Congress chose wisely not to undertake a cause which would have been costly and fruitless.

italiandudeinchicago82: Just a point of order. Clinton was impeached. Impeachment is the process. He was not convicted as a result of the impeachment and therefore was not removed from office.

  2. You first have to be charge with a crime that can be proved.

Not being like by the liberals is not a high crime.

  3. Becasue Nancy Pelosi and the House of Representatives found no reason to impeach him.

  4. Actually, you DO need to explain this one.

This is a nation of laws, and we are innocent until proven guilty. If a person wants to bring impeachment charges against Bush (or any President), that person would have to state what crime the President has committed, and how that crime rises to the level of "high crimes and misdomeanors" as called for by the Constitution.  You would also have to offer some sort of evidence as well.

You obviously don't like Bush and that's fine.  I'm not particularly fond of him, either.   This is the USA and you are free to voice your opinion.  However, just because you don't like someone is not a reason for impeachment.

  5. Because he has been a good president and didn't commit any impeachable offenses.

    duh,

For the next several generations historians will support that G Bush was a good president.  Look forward to choking on your hate for several decades.

Just because you, the kittens in the democrat party and the main stream media don't like him, doesn't negate the good things he did.

  6. Because he was at least smart enough not to have the trail lead to him.  Directly.  They learned from Tricky d**k.

But I'll give at least 2 reasons for his possible impeachment.

    1)  Warrentless wiretapping

    2) Illegally reveling a CIA's operative's identity.

Just to name two off the top of my head.

  7. Impeached for what? there isnt any real proof that he did anything wrong!!!!! if so he would have been impeached allready. Get over it!!!!!

  8. The votes in the House couldn't be found  yet but there's always hope.

The Iraq invasion was the single largest blunder in the modern age.  The blame falls directly on this administration and its leader, President Bush

  9. I do not know the guy is an idiot and should have been

  10. Because he committed no impeachable offenses.

  11. Because if he gets away with his crimes, the next guy will find it easier to do the same d**n things!

  12. for what???

you guys keep bringing that idiotic question up....jess....

  13. It shows that our system of government is not working as it should. We seem to have lost the checks and balance that was supposed to exist with the 3 branches of government. One problem is that it seems the 2 major parties (Dems, Repubs) are not that much different anymore if you look at their voting records or so I have heard from people smarter and more knowledgeable than me. Nancy Pelosi said when she was put in place as Speaker of the House that impeachment was off the table. Dennis Kucinich has been trying to impeach Cheney and Bush but he's been laughed at by the media and members of the Democratic party. He does seem to have more support but some other people feel it is too late. But fortunately, Dennis feels that it is important that this be on the record.

On Friday night, I was watching Bill Moyers on PBS and he was interviewing a professor from Boston University who came out with a book. I forget the title. I wish I could remember the name of the professor. It was a great interview and very interesting. He was talking about our government, politics, the parties, the economy etc. He's a conservative who believes in smaller government. His son died in Iraq. Did you happen to see this? If not and if you have any interest then I highly recommend trying to find it online. It helped me to understand at least a little better about what is going on and why it is going on. It's a liberal program but with the author being more right than left, it seemed like there was a balance there. It was still biased, of course. The program didn't slam Bush or any particular President.

The conservative author from BU said the problem with Bush is that preventative war is stupid. It's very costly. Our handling of our military personnel is immoral. The terrorist problem is really a criminal one and should be dealt with that way. It is far less costly and saves our resources.

Kucinich first went after Cheney for impeachment. He says that he now finally has the evidence he was looking for to impeach Bush. It takes time to gather and look through the evidence. It's not like it's just readily available. Then once you  have it, it's so apparent what it is. These are not stupid people really. (not that way) They are cunning.

What I found most interesting was the Professor's assertion that Bush should have went after the terrorists as the criminal entity that it is. There are problems at doing preventative wars that Bush/Cheney did not take into account or if they did then they are criminals, no doubt about it. We are talking about imperalism. It doesn't matter the administration in terms that each admin wants to expand government and that is what has been happening.

  14. Because he didn't not commit any impeachable offenses.  Being a s***w-up in office and being unpopular are both not reasons legally worthy of impeachment.

  15. Because the Dems we elected to take down his administartion were WAY to worried about the upcoming election cycle to do anything "risky"

They were weak and i hope we replace them all with better dems.

  16. There is no reason to impeach him. Clinton committed perjury, why wasn't he impeached?

  17. There's no genuine reason why he should be. Clinton lied under oath. Bush didn't do anything of the sort.
