Why wasn't Michelle Obama proud of her country before?

She recently said she was proud of her country "for the first time" because Obama got a bunch of votes.

I really don't understand this comment and I question her patriotism and loyalty to her countrymen.

Like most Muslims, she is full of hate.  Combined with stupidity.  She most likely is a product of Affirmative Action.  Another monstrous government failure.  She could not learn much but was  promoted anyway.

She's proud because for the first time someone is running in the race who isn't a middle aged white guy, like, say, Reagan.

She's proud because of the progress we've made.

She's proud because she's not a republican.
